The Story

After 26 hours of labor, Kyle Christopher Harker was born on February 3rd, 2008 at 2:03 am via C-Section. He weighted 8 lbs 7 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. He spent his first 3 days in NICU with pneumonia and on antibiotics but he is now a very healthy, growing boy! He is certainly the light of my life and I can't tell you how incredibly lucky I feel to be so blessed with such a wonderful gift.

Andrew's baseball game

Saturday we went to Cousin Andrews baseball game.
It was a bit rainy but Kyle loves his cousins and loves to be outside no matter what the weather! Here he is making his grand entrance to the ball field! TOO CUTE!
First thing he did was walk straight to the puddle on the blacktop. I think he was a bit shocked when I didn't tell him NO! Boys need to be able to splash in puddles from time to time right?
Here he is taking a break from the puddles, the playground and the tether ball game to watch Andrew play

Now it was time to drag our chair and find a place to sit

Kyle is Andrews number one fan and spectator!

It started to rain, again, so he crawled up on Grandpa's lap to finish watching the game.
Eventually, Kyle and I went to the car..... it was nasty!

Memorial Day play!

We had such a fun day at Grandma and Grandpas for Memorial DayWe had beautiful weather so we were all able to enjoy the sun and the pool
Grandpa made a slip n slide out of a large sheet of plastic and I wasn't sure how Kyle would take to it but he loved it!
By the time Grandpa got Kyle sat down the water had pretty much dried up so he didn't "slip" to well
but found a way down the hill anyway

He was so much fun to watch! He is just growing up so fast, getting to be much more independant and has a fear of almost nothing!
When the BBQ and the water fun was over, we went on a short walk...... lacking britches

Kyle's cat encounter

My parents have a neighbor that has a cat! Kyle LOVES to go find it and check it outThis day though he decided to investigate even closer and even tried to say HI!
Here he is trying to convince the cat to not run away from him

Finally the cat decided that Kyle was harmless and laid down to listen to his story
