The Story

After 26 hours of labor, Kyle Christopher Harker was born on February 3rd, 2008 at 2:03 am via C-Section. He weighted 8 lbs 7 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. He spent his first 3 days in NICU with pneumonia and on antibiotics but he is now a very healthy, growing boy! He is certainly the light of my life and I can't tell you how incredibly lucky I feel to be so blessed with such a wonderful gift.

The park

We went to the little park here at home since the sun was out today
He just loves to run! It was a bit chilly but he didn't care

There was a girl there that had this little dog. Kyle just squealed! He loved it so much!
He kept walking up to it, talking to it and then running away but always back for more

Align Center
Then the dog got just as excited as Kyle and jumped up and kissed him!
Kyle wasn't quite sure what to think so he just sat there and yelled at the dog!
Our first encounter with an animal was pretty much a success!

Humm..... busy boy!

While I was in making the bed this morning.... I kept calling Kyle's name
He wouldn't answer me so I decided to go investigate his activity
and this is what I found. Guess he was quite comfortable on the cookie sheets!

Merry Christmas!

All of the grandkids got Christmas PJ's from Grandma and Grandpa

Kyle loved Christmas! He was more into walking over the gifts and the excitement of everyone else than he was in opening his own gifts. I just love his MORNING hair!

IT SNOWED!

It snowed in Vancouver, Washington! Kyle loved it! He had a little trouble walking in it and didn't quite understand what it was but he was so happy!

Christmas card pictures

While Uncle Eric was home he used his new camera and took some amazing pictures of Kyle. I am truly the proudest Mommy around!

Kyle's distain for trains!

So, in a few of Kyles movies there are trains..... he loves the choo choo thing and watching them go around and talk, etc. So, his Mommy gets a bright idea of pulling out a train set I have had for years and setting it up so that he can enjoy his own train! NOT! As you can see in the video...... he hates it! Leave it to his Mommy to video him instead of comfort him right away! The picture bounces because I am laughing my butt off while videoing this!
